Pastor Sammy Townes founded Townes Funeral Home in 2014. He was inspired by his father, Mr. Armstead Townes, who was an entrepreneur and had several businesses that he founded and established to ensure the well-being of his family was maintained. Mr. Armstead Townes left a legacy and inheritance and he imparted much knowledge to his sons and today they uphold the TOWNES legacy through several different businesses.
Townes Funeral Home is one Funeral Home two locations. Pastor Townes founded the Funeral Home with family and the community at heart. As a local pastor in the community it is his desire to empower, educate, and exemplify the love of Christ to everyone.
Townes Funeral Home offer community events to bring awareness and involvement to engage a diverse group of people. We are not just a funeral home but we are a ministry. Pastor Townes along with his wife Katherine Townes currently owns two funeral homes and looks to expand to other cities in the future.
